The story
This is a self-portrait of me sitting on the beach at Denny Blaine, meditating on the solstice in 2015. It goes along with the other paintings in this series. Denny Blaine is a clothing-optional beach in Mann, just south of Madison Beach, near where I live in Seattle. My friend Craig came down to the beach with me and took the photographs I painted from.
