Lisa Climbing Tahoma at Sunrise from Denny Blaine

The story

This is the finished version of Sunrise on Rainier from Denny Blaine. It's the view from Denny Blaine at dawn on the day my friend Lisa was climbing Rainier. They summit at dawn, so I went down to the beach to catch the sky in its rainbow colors. You can't see her, she's very, very small, but she's up there, about an inch below the top. It's also a self-portrait of sorts. I'm not in it; I'm everything in it. It hangs in her son's room now.
