Site update: Oct 4–16

I'm TJ Murphy, a painter based in Seattle. My studio is Vermillion Aurora. Here is what changed on the site between my first blog post and my first weekly recap.

• Oct 4. Published the Warsaw, Kraków and Prague travel story, then fixed a 404 on the article link.
• Oct 5. Main menu wraps on phones instead of scrolling sideways. The two Slot Canyon paintings sit side by side in my dad's gallery.
• Oct 6. A commissions hub, with my name leading the brand. Hamburger menu on phones, a header that hides as you scroll, and lighter WebP images.
• Oct 7. tjm.art became the main domain, with vermillionaurora.com redirecting to it. One commissions page for portraits and landscapes, with deposits through the cart. Testimonials page with a submission form, photos and map pins. Email signup on About and Books. Apple Pay and Google Pay through Square, and PayPal retired. Terms of use. A new logo: the orange-face painting mark in place of the TJ monogram. Chase Toole and Dorian Nakamoto moved to the Portraits galleries.
• Oct 8. Merged duplicate book scans into their catalog pages. Video testimonials. "Buy" instead of "Inquire to buy" on painting cards. Live collector pins on the homepage map. New high-res photos and prints for El Zonte at Dawn. Etsy sync for originals. Added Meditation at Denny Blaine, Sunrise in El Zonte (Large), Sunset at Kihei on Maui, and Hope, the Vermillion Aurora. Updated the CV on the About page.
• Oct 9. A zoomable print wall you can shop from. Warsaw festival and Adopting Bitcoin El Salvador added to the CV.
• Oct 10. Babylon gallery. Gallery experiences moved into the Exhibitions carousel. High-resolution Cormorant mural prints. All-paintings walls for my work and my dad's, at true scale.
• Oct 12. Barry Calhoun's photos on the Friends Club mural. An Archived Paintings gallery with 54 painting pages, all on the print wall.
• Oct 13. New full-resolution photos for Warszawska Syrenka and other print masters. Merged Father Paul into the My Dad, Paul Murphy page.
• Oct 14. Older Work gallery: 65 paintings, each original for sale. Display images now load from img.tjm.art. A live catalog with an admin page. One-step deploys from main with rollback.
• Oct 15. Strawberry Point Hiking Trip gallery. One painting wall replaced the older print wall. Framed prints re-quoted at current FinerWorks costs. A 3D gallery walkthrough with themed rooms, and tjm.art/play, a gallery dungeon you can walk through.
• Oct 16. Strawberry Point Backpacking Trip originals and prints. No print is larger than its original. Site emails now come from tj@tjm.art. A dedicated Exhibitions page. In the 3D gallery: video holograms of me in each room, a mute button, and my art books on lecterns you can read.
